Future Scenario
Finally, in 2045, Hong Kong SAR planned to create a new temporal public space for domestic workers to spend their Sundays. SAR decided Mid-level SOHO as the site in Hong Kong. They assigned left-over spaces between the buildings since there was not enough land area available in Hong Kong for new development in 2045 whereas a number of domestic workers increased drastically within the past few decades.
The project was assigned to 55 year-old Philippine-Chinese Architect Moreno Wang who is a 2nd generation of Philippine domestic worker in the 1970's. SAR established Hong Kong - Philippine Educational Foundation support few promising student after a tragedy happened in 2020 - suicide of the abused maid. Moreno was able to take advantage of this system and finally he was strategically hired by the SAR to control Philippine workers to move to the other site without any disturbance considering that Moreno as a half-Philippine would perform SAR' goal than any other Hong Kong Architects.
